Brief introduction
Omizumab is a targeted therapeutic agent combined with immunoglobulin E (IgE) to inhibit histamine-induced skin reactions. It has been approved by more than 90 Chemicalbook countries, including the United States (since 2003) and the European Union (since 2005), for the treatment of moderate to severe persistent allergic asthma. It was approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria (CIU). It was officially approved for listing in China in 2017.
