Product characteristics
Adainumab is a recombinant human immunoglobulin 1 (IgG 1) monoclonal antibody against aggregated soluble and insoluble amyloid β and is expressed in a Chinese hamster ovary cell line. The molecular weight of adumumab is approximately 146 kDa. Adadumumab (aducanumab-avwa) injection is a preservative-free, sterile, clear to milky, colorless to yellow intravenous infusion solution provided in a single dose after dilution at a concentration of 170mg/1Chemicalbook.7mL (100 mg/mL) or 300mg / 3 mL (100 mg/mL). Water for injection containing 100mgaducanumab-avwa, L-arginine hydrochloride (31.60 mg), L-histidine (0.60 mg), L-histidine hydrochloride monohydrate (3.39 mg), L-methionine (1.49 mg), polysorbate 80 (0.50 mg) and pH of approximately 5.5.
Clinical application
Adunatumab is an amyloid-directed antibody used for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. Patients with mild cognitive impairment or mild dementia (people treated in clinical trials) may be treated with the Aduna Chemicalbook mAb. For patients in the early or late stages of clinical studies, no safety or efficacy data are available. The indication was accelerated based on the observation of reduced amyloid plaques in adumuumab treated patients.
